These plaques are made from a combination of two types of wood in either “book” (banded on the left side) or “flag” (strips down both sides) style. The bottom right corner is cut off prior to finishing and provided to the graduate to represent the part of them that has not been changed while in training. Their silent partner is engraved on the rear. Plaques are approximately 6″ x 7″ in size.
